Premium Rugs , a family owned business started operation in Athens during 1997.

It started with carrying finely hand knotted wool rugs, hand made in various countries.

The standard sizes offered in Hand knotted rugs are from 2x3, 3x5, 4x6, 6x9, 8x10 & 9x12 and to Over Sizes (10x14, 12x15 12x18 etc). These include both one of a kind and program design which are made in all sizes.

Premium Rugs also offers one of a kind unique and decorative, hand knotted rugs made using Natural Dyes and Hand Spun wool verses Chemically dyed wool and Machine Spun wool. These rugs are made to look antique with a soft and mellow look.

In addition it also offers Organics (Sisal, Sea Grass, Reed & Coir) in custom sizes.

Over the years it has expanded its offering to include floor covering made in USA from custom Braided Rugs ( wool, cotton, polyester, acrylic & polypropylene) to Broadloom woolen carpets made into custom size area rugs.

Premium Rugs also provides hand washing and appraisal of oriental rugs, stair rods, tapestries, rug pads and antique oriental rugs on request.

The operating hours are 10-5, Monday to Saturday and is located on Jennings Mill Parkway, facing Home Depot.
